Moving along that path, we can ask ourselves, “What Can I Offer?” We focus on five ways that help answer that question. They are worship, learn, serve, give, and invite. Discipleship Path

The prayer for you at Lord of Life is that you will go deeper in your connection with Jesus as you progress along the Discipleship Path.

Jesus meets you wherever you are. That’s a promise God makes to you, and it’s something taken seriously at Lord of Life.

While Jesus meets us where we are, we also trust that our lives are better when we seek to follow Jesus more closely. That’s why Lord of Life has the Discipleship Path. It’s a way to help everyone see what the next steps are in their faith journey.There are four steps, each with its own question.

• Consumer What’s in it for me? This is where we all start – looking at what is offered and wondering what it will give to us.
• Contributor What do I have to offer? As our understanding and experience of Jesus deepens, we see beyond our own desires. We look for opportunities to share our time and ourselves.
• Conductor How can I lead? Our gifts are identified, and we use them to conduct ministries and lead initiatives.
• Connector Who can I empower? This is not mere delegation. It’s about our raising up new leaders and being secure enough to give away responsibilities by trusting in others.
